Laser hair removal from Kaya Skin Clinic is advertised a lot in the newspapers. Has any one been treated there ?  Is it as effective as they claim ? In many other hair removal forums people  say that laser hair removal is only 50% effective

I have not undergone the said procedure myself, but one of my friends has and she claims to have got 100% results!

However, I am still wary of such claims and its better to be proactive and prevent any mishaps, because recently a number of incidents have come to light where such beauty clinics have undertaken some clearly harmful steps and burnt client's skin and so on!!

It is thus much better to rely on plucking or using lotions Smiley

can you name the beauty clinics or provide a link to those websites?. It will alert users and future customers, so that they can take suitable precautions

Well, a lot of mishaps go unreported, but in recent times, i.e. within past 2 years I can recount atleast one mishap of burnt/damaged skin and hair (during some chemical cosmetic process) being reported at-

VLCC
KAYA Skin clinic
Ramma Bans Health and Fitness clinic,

there are many smaller operators and local beauty clinics also which use many "herbal" products which contain, in reality, many many harmful ingredients!

So everyone, beware, check everything many many times to be sure of the quality of whatever treatment you are undergoing!
