Lice are small insects living in dirty conditions on the head. To avoid this problem is to keep the head clean.
A paste of bitter almonds applied on the head, rinse it. This will help to get rid of head lice.

Hi,
dry the neem leaves and tulsi/basil leaves together and powder them .Make a paste of it with a little water and apply it on your hair . Leave it for 15-20 minutes. Wash it off as usual. If you do it regularly the lice will not ever come to your head.
To prevent lice getting into your head, take a tulsi sprig and put it into your hair in the night, or if you don't mind, always.
All the best
