In the last one year, Clinic Plus and All clear icecool shampoos have been introduced in the market.  I dont know what they contain but the coolness is due to the evaporation of some chemical. Will it not cause dry hair?

Of course shampoo's chemical affects the hair to dry. To prevent dry hair, we can use good conditioner with shampoo.

Henna is a good conditioner. Make henna paste i.e. pure henna powder with black tea.   Leave this paste in an iron vessel over night. In the morning, add 1 table spoon curd with this and apply on hair, leave it for 30 minutes, then rinse it with shampoo.
If you want to colour on hair, leave it for an hour or 2 hour and rinse it with out shampoo.
You can add lime juice or amla juice with the paste.
