Sorry, but what is curd? I'd like to make this for my skin. Also, is it ok to put on parts of your body as well, or just the face?
"5. For bleaching in home the following mixture can be used - Facial turmeric powder (kasthuri manjal) – 1 spoon, honey – ½ spoon, few drops of olive oil, curd – ½ spoon, table salt – ¼ spoon. Mix these items to make a paste and apply on your face.
Leave it for 15 minutes. Clean this with a cotton cloth. When you take a bath, wash your face with plain water and avoid soap.
You can use this, once in a week or twice in a month. "

Curd is the same as yoghurt, without too many additives, it is used widely in India

So then can I just buy plain yogurt from the grocery store and use that?

Just ensure that there are no additives or colours. It should be plain yoghurt.

I had completely forgot about this remedy until recently and now that it's summer I really need to try it!
So when it says "spoon" it means tablespoon?
And also, is this safe to use once a week regularly?
