How fast does facial hair grow? Does it depend on heredity or methods used earlier to remove hair?

I guess it depends more on heredity, its probably one of those things which run in the family Smiley

However, my mother (among many other people) continue to stress on the importance of ways of removal used in deciding the timeline and density of facial hair growth! I have always heard that if one uses a shaving razor, hair gorws faster and its also of a masculine texture!

Haven't been able to test the validity of this argument, has anybody else on the forum been able to do it? Cheesy

Yeah facial hair seems to be hereditary, since I have a friend who doesn't have facial hair, and his father doesn't have any either.

Some have side burns, others don't.

I've also heard that if you shave with a razor, your hair grows quicker, and I think that's true. Plucking or waxing hair will last longer, but may be more expensive/painful. I'm a male, so I have no problem with my facial hair. =D

When you use a razor, it only gets cut off, it then just regrows quicker. Just like weeds, when you pull them out of the root, it takes longer for them to come back. If you just chop it up, and leave the roots, it will grow back.
