Hi
The problem with using dark shades of nailpolish is that it tends to discolour nails with prolonged use,so in order to avoid the yellowing of nails is to apply a base coat which is transparent and then applying the shade of your choice.
Also give your nails a break from nailpolish from time to time so that your nails are not constantly covered with polish.
Soaking your feet in warm water with a bit of salt is good as it tends to remove the dry skin from your feet and give it a good scrub.
Treat your feet to regular pedicures and make sure the tools used for the pedicures are washed properly and are soaked in dettol as unclean tools can cause fungal problems.
Some good quality nail polishes are Revlon , Lakme and Maybelline
Some International brands are NINA RICCI , CHANNEL and MAC
The french manicure is the most popular and luckily we do get kits from revlon in India.
The herbal way to treat rough feet are to soak your feet in warm water with some drops of olive oil , pls note do not pour in oil as you may slip and injure yourself , make sure you wipe your feet once you are through with soaking and then wear your house chappels to walk around.
A good scrub with lime juice and butter mailk is good as it tends to bleach your skin and make it tan free

I have had a problem with yellowing nails as well,
and I tried using the white strips that are used for whitening the teeth on the nails. I just followed the instrutions on the box and it worked great.
Try it!
