fair skin...

i have fair skin and i hate it but i know i have to live with it, is there anyway i can change my skin from being fare so it is more smoother and less fair if you know what i mean. Also i dont know why but my arms and face is fair skin but my body is not my body has that smooth tannable look about it whys this?

you can get atanned look once you expose your skin to moderate sunlight ie do not get into any tanning booths or some such but out doorsy sports and swimmimg is agood option
